It is great that so many of you have got involved in this initiative. Many pupils have achieved 20 kms which is the distance from our school to St. Aidan's and back! Others have even achieved a further 30 kms which is the distance between the next closest schools involved in shared education, Ballyhackett Primary and Castleroe Primary. Mrs McCormick, our Shared Education Coordinator lives in Ballycastle, a distance of 21.4 miles or 38.8 km from Hezlett Primary. I think because of the distance this should be a 'one-way' trip. Let's see if anyone can clock up that distance over half-term!
