We enjoyed a beautiful day today in the Forest learning the structure of a tree; how to estimate the age and height of a tree; working in groups and presenting our work to others; learning to encourage other teams; and collecting leaves for further identification and artwork. Our day started with a huge rainbow in the sky. For the rest of the activities we enjoyed being surrounded by an array of autumn colours. We walked home under a blue sky and the sun shining. If you had seen the children working together, it would have put a smile on your face. Hope these pictures capture a little of our day.
