P1 Applications - Sept 2026
Today the outcome of the Primary 1 applications for September 2026 admissions will be issued to parents and carers.
Applicants who applied via EA Connect will receive an email. If you do not receive an email, please check your junk folder.
If you did not apply via EA Connect a letter will be sent to your home address.
If you received the outcome of your child’s Primary 1 application today, there is guidance on the next steps within the email or letter you received and on the EA’s website: https://www.eani.org.uk/parents/admissions/placement-notification Here you will also find:

For children yet to secure a P1 place, you will receive an email or letter from the Education Authority.
If you have been unsuccessful with your school choice, we would be delighted to have you join us here at Hezlett PS. We have a small number of available spaces that can be used on a First Come, First Served basis. Please get in touch with the school office for more information!
Children with a Statement of Special Educational Needs awaiting placement will be updated by their SEN link officer or school/setting when a placement has been secured. This process may take a little longer in order to find the best placement for your child’s needs.
