P2s were asked to work on a Houses and Homes Project as part of our topic this term. They were tasked with creating a house model at home to be shown in class. Their house could be built in any way they liked and they were encouraged to work with an adult to support their project.
We were absoloutley amazed by the tremendous effort put in to creating the house models, with every pupil producing a house for their project. Some houses had solar panels, some had decorated rooms inside, some had working lights inside, one had a working lift, one had a conservatory, one had a gravel path, one had an insulated attic, one even made a house cake to accompany her house, there were many interesting aspects to the houses, but they all had one thing in common- they were FANTASTIC!
We invited all the classes in our school in to see our houses and the P2s spent the whole day talking about their creations and how they had made them. To say I am proud of the P2s and all their efforts and courage today is an understatement- well done to a very creative bunch of kids!
